I create mixed media conceptual artworks and installations. By using an ever-growing archive of found artifacts to create sentimental artworks, I appropriate the tradition of remembrance art into daily practice. This personal follow-up and revival of my past is an important act of meditation and fuels my passion to continue working each day.

These mixed media artworks are an investigation of concepts such as family, discovery, and mortality as they relate to my own personal experiences. By focusing on techniques and materials, the tradition of remembrance is absorbed by celebrating the lives of my relatives past and present. The exquisite finish of these pieces is very important because craftsmanship and process together create a tension between the found and the discarded objects and their elevation into high art.

I present these artworks as aesthetically resilient, thematically interrelated material for memory and projection, reflecting on my personal and closely related subjects of archive and remembrance.
